These South Korean Scholarships offer three different degree programs such as;
Research Program:
- 1 year or 06 months
Master’s Degree Program:
- Three Years (1 year for Korean Language Program 2 years for degree courses.)
Doctoral Degree Program:
- Four Years (1 year for Korean Language Program and 3 years for degree courses and research projects.)
Eligibility Criteria of Global Korea Scholarship 2024-25
Global Korea Scholarship 2024 is considered among the reputed and competitive fully funded scholarships in South Korea for international students. The eligibility criteria of KGSP 2024-25 is given as;
- International Student from all over the world are equally eligible to apply.
- The candidates having Korean nationality are not encouraged to apply for these scholarships.
- All the interested candidates must be less than 40 years of their age.
- The applicants interested for a Master’s degree scholarship must have completed their undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- The PhD degree candidates nust have completed their Master’s degree or equivalent with excellent achievements.
- The candidates interested to pursue a Research Program must have to receive an invitation letter from on of the eligible universities.
- The candidate must not have availed the Korean Scholarships in the past.

Benefits of Global Korea Scholarship 2024-25
The Korean Government Scholarships 2024 offer fully funded financial support along with multiple benefits for international students from all over the world. The benefits of Global Korea Scholarship 2024 include;
- Full coverage on tuition fee.
- A comprehensive healthcare with insurance support.
- A one-time settlement allowance of KRW 200,000 will be provided.
- For Research Program, the candidates will receive KRW 1,500,000 monthly as research allowance.
- For degree programs, the applicants will receive a monthly allowance of KRW 900,000.
- The applicants who preferred Social Science and Liberal Arts majors will get KRW 210,000 per semester.
- The applicants of Natural Science and Engineering study programs KRW 240,000 every semester.
- The international students will also receive KRW 100,000 as a monthly grant for Korean Proficiency.

Application Deadline GKS 2024
As there are two methods of applying for the fully funded GKS 2024-25. Hence, there are different application deadlines for each program. So, all the interested international candidates must submit their applications as soon as possible.
How to Apply
- There are two ways to submit applications for Global Korea Scholarship 2024 in South Korea for international students.
- The candidates may either submit their applications either through South Korean Embassy or Consulate in their home countries, or they may apply directly through the eligibility universities under GKS 2024.
- For Korean Embassy or Consulate; the interested international candidates must dispatch their attested or original documents to the Korean Embassy or Consulate of their own country.
- In the above case, the applicants may apply for three different universities through single application.
- In case of direct application; the candidates may submit their applications along with required documents directly through the online application system of the domestic university.
- In this case, the applicants can apply only for a single university.
